Activities

Join the fun. Assist the activities staff and residents during recreational activities such as games, outdoor experiences, and the arts.

Administration

Help with filing and other duties in the business office.

The Emporium

Volunteers in the Emporium gift and snack shop serve as clerks, restocking merchandise and greeting and assisting customers. 

Dining room greeter

Lend a hand to the independent-living dining room staff during lunch and dinner hours by greeting and seating guests and serving beverages. 

A moving experience

Assist volunteer residents and the Bargain Bonanza  Extravaganza committee as they move and store furniture and general household goods in preparation for this gigantic garage sale, held each year in May.

Maintenance

Love the outdoors? Give us a hand maintaining flower beds or assist with yard work, trash pickup, and recycling.

Pastoral care

Whether you’re a talented musician, a pastor, or someone who just loves people, we have a spot for you.

Public relations

Prepare packets of promotional items for special events.

Receptionist assistant

Do you have experience as a receptionist? If so, you’re the type of person who loves to make people feel welcome. Greet residents and their families and other volunteers and visitors.

Mailings

Do you prefer a job working behind the scenes? Help with mailing projects for our independent  - living community and the Volunteer Services Department.

Resident companion services

Within this important and rewarding opportunity, volunteers perform non-medical services such as responding to call lights; bringing water, washcloths, or personal items; and greeting and escorting residents.

Transportation

Our volunteer drivers take residents to appointments and outings. Our transportation coordinator trains those who drive our vans and mini-bus.

Wheelchair escorts

Escort our residents by pushing wheelchairs to outdoor activities, chapel services, the hair salon and spa, the Emporium, or other locations as needed.
