Respite Care
Even the most dedicated of caregivers occasionally needs time to attend to personal matters, take a short break, or go on a well-earned vacation. However, many family caregivers are reluctant to leave their loved ones in the care of others. Family caregivers may worry that another caregiver won’t provide the same quality of care and loving attention.
Nonetheless, there’s evidence that at least an occasional short break to relieve stress is in the best interest of both the caregiver and the person being cared for.
That’s why Lutheran Life Villages offers respite care on at The Village of Anthony Boulevard, The Village of Kendallville, and The Village at Pine Valley.
We provide respite care for periods as long as 14 days. Regardless of the amount of time you require, the person you care for will receive the finest compassionate care available in an environment where wellness is promoted and friendship is fostered.
