Our skilled-nursing communities in Fort Wayne and Kendallville meet a wide variety of needs, whether you plan to return to your own home, or choose to make Lutheran Life Villages your permanent residence. You’ll receive the highest-quality care in an environment where wellness is promoted and residents are encouraged to live life to the fullest.
Skilled nursing will also be offered at Lutheran Life Villages’ brand-new nursing and rehabilitation community on Coldwater Road on Fort Wayne’s far north side. This new community, set to open in 2012, will include 36 private Rehab Suites for short-term inpatient recovery after illness, injury, or surgery.
In our nursing-care communities, our health-care professionals are available seven days a week to provide:
- Short-stay rehabilitation services
- Home assessment and alterations
- Restorative nursing services
- Transportation and assistance with physician and dialysis appointments
- Alzheimer’s and dementia care
- Respite care
- Nutritional consultation
- Depression and anxiety counseling
- Pain management
- Hospice and palliative care
