Endowment giving

Endowments are the gift that "keep on giving.” Your donation to the endowment will be permanently held, and only the income and growth of the funds will be used for our programs and services. As a rule of thumb, if you donate $100 every month, you could give $24,000 and provide the Foundation with $100 every month in perpetuity (assuming a 5 percent growth and income rate).

Planned giving

Planned giving includes gifts to the foundation in your will, estate, charitable trust, charitable gift annuity, life insurance policy, etc.

• Wills and bequests—Gifts in wills have been one of the most popular gifts in the history of Lutheran Life Villages. Bequests are the culmination of your life interests and ensure that your charitable preferences are fulfilled. If you decide to include us in your estate plans, we suggest you include the following language:
