Every November, we at Lutheran Life Villages recognize “National Alzheimer’s Disease Month.” President Ronald Reagan designated November as National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month in 1983. Fewer than 2 million Americans had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at that time. Today, there are over 5.4 million people with this disease. This November, help us in raising awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and contributing to enhancing the lives of those with the disease and their families and caregivers.
